NorShip ("we", "us") provides a parcel-forwarding service: we receive packages addressed to you at our US warehouse, consolidate them, and ship them to a destination address in Norway. We act as your agent for customs clearance and VAT prepayment.
You must be 18 or older to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your delivery address current. You are responsible for the items you have shipped to your US address.
You agree not to have items in our prohibited items list shipped to your NorShip address. We may refuse, return, or destroy prohibited items at your cost.
Rates are published on our pricing page and are subject to change with notice. You authorize us to charge the payment method on file for shipping, handling, customs, VAT, and any applicable add-ons before dispatch.
You are responsible for the accuracy of declared values. We pre-pay Norwegian VAT and duty on your behalf based on your declarations. False declarations may result in customs penalties, which are your responsibility.
Base liability is limited to USD $100 per shipment. Optional insurance covers up to declared value at the rate published on our pricing page. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
The first 60 days of storage per package are free. After 60 days, storage fees apply per our pricing page. After 180 days, we may treat the package as abandoned and dispose of it.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts for repeated prohibited shipments, fraud, or violation of these terms.
Your use of NorShip is also governed by our privacy policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, with respect to the warehouse operations, and by Norwegian law with respect to the delivery and customs leg.
